Distorted thoughts

          Some women who stay in abusive relationships loving and sticking to their spouse believe that the constant ill-treatment and abuse received from their partner is of their own doing. You see them even apologizing on behalf of their husband and telling others around that the poor man was seriously provoked by them!

Damaged self-worth 

          With every dose of violence received from their spouse their self-esteem and confidence in their own self is reduced drastically. Therefore, these women belittle themselves and their ability to get out of the relationship, so they would rather tolerate abuse in their relationship than looking for love elsewhere.

Children 

          A major weakness for almost every woman on the face of the earth is her kids. They would put up with anything just to make sure their kids have a home.

Thinking they can change the man
